You use Mentor Graphics’ Expedition PCB and Altium Designer, can you use the schematics from our CAD system?
Yes, most foreign schematic capture packages such as Orcad, Cadstar etc. output a readable netlist. We are able to take these and import them into
either Altium Designer or Expedition PCB.
We have a design with DDR2, have you designed with this technology?
Yes, on many occasions. We are familiar with most if not all current electronic architectures and technologies.
I can’t find anyone in the UK who has designed or manufactured AdvancedMC cards before?
Routability have designed AdvancedMC cards of phenomenal density and worked closely with a pcb manufacturer to ensure that the design and manufacturing constraints of AMC are met.
Do you provide designers on-site?
Yes. We appreciate that every customer’s situation is different and we work to give our customers the solution with which they are most comfortable. Often we find that once we have demonstrated our technical capability customers are more than happy for us to work at our offices.
If you’re working from your offices how can we keep in touch with the progress of the design?
We use GoToMeeting, to enable us to conduct formal design reviews and our customers are welcome to query any aspect of the design throughout the process.
